Q:

Why do I feel nauseous after I stopped my birth control?

So I stopped my birth control after a month of use and I feel really nauseated. I'm wondering why this is happening? I had unprotected sex two weeks after starting the bc. Never missed a pill. A week later I stopped and got my "period". Chances of being pregnant?

Hello Kyra

Thank you for writing!

The pill may have been causing your nausea and you may still be experiencing those side effects. You should feel better soon.
As long as you had your withdrawal bleed after sex then pregnancy should not be a concern.
Best,
Susan
