Hello -

My wife and I had intercoarse on June. She had her period 2 months in a row but was not as heavy. We did however continue to have intercoarse through the next two months of July and August. Here we are in September, and she has not gotten her period. What are the possibilities that she could have been pregnant from June?

Thank You

Hector

Guide

Hello Hector,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. There is a good chance that your wife conceived if intercourse in August was unprotected intercourse.

If her period for September is late by at least seven days, she should take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, she must test in the morning and use the first urine of the day.

Regards,
Maryann
