So I had unprotected sex on Feb 21 2016 around 11pm-12am. He came inside of me. Around 8:30am on Feb 22 I took the Plan B pill. I was most fertil around the time of the incident. My period is supposed to be due by March 9. Anyway, the first week from taking the pill I had no symptoms just nerves and over reacting. Now this is the second week since I took the pill and my breast have been sore for about a week and also swollen. (They got a little bigger) my nipples don't hurt but the sides of my breast hurt. I have had regular symptoms of my period coming such as slight mood swings, back aches, tiredness, and now my lower abdomin hurts. It feels very gassy. But that could be a change in diet. I am very bloated but I do get that sometimes with my period. I don't feel nausea or dizzy. Also, idk if it's just me overthinking and making me pee but I feel like I'm peeing a lot more than usual. I am due for my period tomorrow. This was my first time taking Plan B. I wanted to see if anyone has a similar story to mine ? I know I'm supposed to wait and see if my period is missed but I'm very curious. Could I just be over reacting or is this a possibility ? I have in the past acted the same way. Freaking out, Self diagnosing myself, stressing and then it comes. But since this time he actually did it in me and I took the pill I think it's throwing me off a lot. Please help if anyone has had any other symptoms similar to mine and if Plan B worked for you or didn't. Thank you !

Hi Ambulldoglover ,
Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.
I have not experienced what you are describing, but I wanted to address your question about is there a possibility of being pregnant. You took Plan B as directed, so it is very likely that it will do what it is intended to do which is prevent pregnancy. The changes in your menstrual cycle are expected and are normal side effects of adding more hormones in your system.
I hope this helps.
