We do not have to knock down coffee to feel better (it’s not that simple) and we do not suggest you should give up at once, but here are not-so-sweet tweaks to your morning routine.
1. You are tense. This is a tricky one – pay attention. You can be alert in the morning, but feeling too amped up isn’t any good when it comes to your working routine. We suggest you cut down on coffee and explore some decaf options. They are safer and do not provide that wired then tired effect. Make sure you do not exceed the daily caffeine intake and make pauses between mugs so you won’t need three coffees to go about your day.
2. You are tired. Coffee is responsible for a wondrous effect on our bodies – it makes us feel positive only to crash us down by noon. Why is that so? A caffeine intake makes our bodies switch to a more energetic rhythm which naturally wears off in a few hours. Having latte in the morning creates an illusion you will be charged through the whole day, but that is false assumption. The only energy source that acts as a fueling to your body is food.
3. You go to the restroom. Coffee has a strong dehydrating effect, and is not a drink, in fact, meaning you still have to carry a bottle of water around. What can we do to reduce that diuretic effect? Add some snack to your breakfast routine. If you are a habitual coffee lover as my colleagues from http://online-check-in.org/, this will slow down the flow motion in your body and help your digestive system prepare for caffeine intake. An espresso paired with a sandwich is the best option for office where you have no actual time for a real meal.
4. You don’t get enough sleep. Our sleeping patterns affect the ways we go about the day massively. Once we rush to Starbucks to get that espresso, it immediately messes with our rhythms, causing some serious sluggishness and that feeling of having to do multiple tasks at a time when all you want is catch some Zzs. Coffee interrupts with slumber, makes us stressed and eventually affects the circadian rhythm, which is basically translated as ‘I don’t feel like working at all’. So, instead of rushing to the nearest coffee shop to get some fuel, have a cup of tea and a sandwich. Safe and sound.

Hello Viviensmith,
Welcome again to EmpowHER. Thank you for pointing out some effects of coffee.
Blame it on caffeine.
Did you know that caffeine raises the amount of acid in your stomach and may cause heartburn or upset stomach.
Caffeine in large amounts may interfere with absorption and metabolism of calcium. This can contribute to bone thinning.
Too much caffeine can also cause slowed fetal growth and increase risk of miscarriage. In most cases, a little caffeine is safe during pregnancy.
Everything in moderation,
