just to let you know, don't be afraid at all! I've been getting bio-identical hormone pellets from Sottopelle for about 10 years. they changed my life! I was so tired, couldn't lose weight, had bad migraines, irritable, felt awful. 2 wks after my first insertion I felt like a new woman! It isn't cheap but I wouldn't want to even try to live without it again! I would rather not eat than not get my hormones! you will be glad you did it!

I had a total hysterectomy 3 years ago and was using g a hormone patch until about 6 months ago. I decided to try the pellets and OMG wish I would of done the pellets long time ago. They are awesome! I on my 2nd injection. No more hot flashes. I am sleeping much better and the sex drive is great. I get migraines a lot but since I have started the pellets I get them a lot less. It is expensive but we'll worth it and some insurance companies are starting to pay for it. The only complaint I have is I am bloated at first but it seems to balance out.

Hello I have been on SottoPelle for 9 months and have had great results. I was not sleeping at all. The anxiety was dreadful. I am taking the oral progesterone and I am not bleeding. I sleep like a baby. I am 60 years old and I have the same energy and sex drive I had in my 40s no complaints there. I can only say that its saved me. After almost 10 years of sleeping pills, anti depressants and anything else my doctor could give me to sleep I am free of all the medication. You just have to find a good doctor that will work with you. Best of luck!

I have had such severe issues with menopause: deepening depression, apathy, fatigue, bone and joint pain, extremely dry skin, brain fog, inability to concentrate or remember things. I found out about sottopelle, and found that I had almost no estrogen, testosterone, progesterone in my body. I have had the pellets inserted today with testosterone and estrogen, and am taking 200 mg progesterone orally. I see from the blogs that people had had issues with bleeding, which seems to be the worst thing. How about improvements? Has anyone experienced an improvement in skin tone, concentration, depression lifting?

I drank the Kool Aid about 5 years ago and believe me when I say...sotopelle rocks! I would suppose a generic version would give modest relief, but happily, I haven't had a hot flash in years. Give it at least 6 months to a year to completely turn you around, but once it happens...you will never look back.

I am 63 and have been on a cream form of BioIdenticals in the past. This January, I went to a Doctor for my exam and talked about Sotta Pellets. I had them implanted, felt more energized immediately, but had very very tender breasts, to the point of being uncomfortable. I figured things would mellow out, so I tried to ignore it. I did feel more sexually alive. Then, about 5 weeks later, I started to have clots of blood appear. I bled enough to wear a pad day and night. I had not had any bleeding for 14 years. The bleeding lasted for about 6 weeks straight. It was a drag. The bleeding has stopped now, but the breasts are still somewhat tender. I also have been very bloated and somewhat stomach queasy and have gained some weight. I had my hormones checked before we implanted them. I eat healthy, stay active, and am now considering just going off these pellets. I have read through many of the comments here from other women, and agree that you have to weigh out what is acceptable and unacceptable for each of us. For now, I am going au natural.

You need to take progesterone with it. You should have your hormones checked after the first dose. Your estrogens may need adjusted .

I experienced the same, very tender breasts within a few days after the treatment, also have experienced periods after not having periods for many years, the first lasted two weeks, then no period for two weeks and had another which is now going n for 12 days and hoping it won't go longer than two weeks. I personally do not feel the worries and discomfort from periods is worth the benefits, so far I haven't experienced any benefits. I'm hoping for this to be over soon and WILL NOT use again.
