I am 75 years old. I am in good physical health at this time. 16 years ago I had a complete hysterectomy due to uterine cancer. After the surgery I went home to deal with the aftermath. I had no clue what to expect and went on with my life. I was a changed person forever. Discussing any of my feelings or concerns went nowhere with either of my male Doctors. They basically brushed aside anything I had to say. They didn't offer any comfort or solutions. The loss of hormones was catastrophic. I just felt "dumped". I was working at the time in a stressful job and struggled to do my job. Small things would become large tasks. I had trouble concentrating, making decisions and dealing with the work environment. Over some years I thought I just had to accept the situation. By chance I heard about natural hormonal pellets. I've had them inserted for several years. At first they helped alot in renewing my energy and interest in life and general well being. But after several years they don't help. I understand at my age I won't have the energy I had 20 years ago, but when I have a good day that is well balanced I feel there must be help to give me the energy and well being to enjoy my life. I would like to know where I can find someone to listen to me and hopefully be able to give me some life back.

wayoutthere,
Help is on the way, I'm sitting in the EmpowHer.com studio right now and our Founder & CEO Michelle King Robson just asked Dr. Maoshing Ni, a 38th generation doctor of Chinese Medicine your question.
I'll be editing his reply and posting it ASAP.
Thank you for sharing with us.

We completely understand where you're coming from and many women are saying the same thing. We will look into this and find some resources for you who would be willing to listen.
