Fitness instructor Scott Keppel shares if it is normal for a trainer to scream at you.
Fitness Instructor Scott Keppel:
Everyone is motivated by a different type of trainer, and what I would recommend is watch that trainer and see how they are. Some trainers will yell and are more bootcamp style and that works for some individuals. Other trainers are more of a cheerleader, you know, "Ra, ra, ra you can do this, I know you can." Other trainers are more, “Let’s set realistic goals and let’s get the job done. You don’t want to be here, you know what - tough. You’re paying me money, I am here, you’re here, let’s get the work done.”
So it’s really important, it’s called "personal training." You need to look at your personality, the trainer’s personality, and what works well because not every trainer is going to be right for every person.
