Dr. Navarro explains if women can prevent spider veins.

Dr. Navarro:
Very difficult to prevent, basically just try to avoid birth control pills and hormones, and as soon as you develop the spider veins, go to the doctor, somebody who is very adept at sclerotherapy, and have them injected. And in a couple of visits usually you will get rid of them, and eventually, two or three years later when you develop new spider veins, do it the same.
