Mary shares advice for women who are diagnosed with uterine cancer.
Mary:
The thing about having surgery and going through treatment is one day you could feel great, and then next day you might not be able to get out of bed. So what I think is important to say is, "How are you today? How can I help you today?" And, you know the response might be, "Oh let's go to lunch," or, "Let's go for a walk," or the response might be,"I can’t get out of bed; would you go pick up my prescription?" Or, "I can’t get out of bed; would you come over and play a game with my daughter?” Something like that, so "How are you today? What can I do for you today?"
