It's true that someone with ADHD may be a tad scattered and may have a hard time focusing. They may be forgetful and disorganized. But there's a flipside to this. Listen to what Kathryn Goetzke has to say.
"Lucky for you, those with ADHD are also the most likely to come up with your next product line, provide a new solution to your customer service issue, think of a new angle on a legal case, introduce innovative laws that address multiple parties, or come up with an exciting PR campaign. The number of ideas people with ADHD have, and provide when their skills are appreciated and utilized, is simply staggering."
So if you are looking for is someone who is linear, meticulous and orderly, the person with ADHD is probably not your best candidate. But if what you want is someone who thinks outside the box, has an infinite number of innovative ideas and can apparently go in many directions at the same time, run with the person with ADHD.
