Julie:

My name is Julie Westoff. I am a breast and ovarian cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 35 and ovarian cancer at 39.

Because of the breast cancer I was also, they recommended I get genetically tested because I have, my mother passed away from breast cancer at 38. So we knew it was potentially in our family, and then several cousins got diagnosed, so then I had the genetic test, and I tested positive for the BRCA1 gene which gives you a higher rate of ovarian and breast cancer.
