What you experienced is more than likely what's called withdrawal bleeding. It can occur when you forget to take your pill. I hope by now you've made up your missed pill and are back on track with taking it regularly. If you have a tendency to forget, try taking it at the same time every day, or associating taking it with brushing your teeth, or going to bed. This way, it may be easier to remember. Anytime you forget to take your pills and have sex without using a back-up method, you increase your chances of getting pregnant.
To avoid putting yourself at further risk, the packet insert that came with your pills recommends using a back-up method of birth control (condoms, spermicide, withdrawal method, etc.) in addition to taking your pills for the first month of taking them. If you forget in the future, you may want to adopt using a back-up method "just in case" and to avoid stress about this.
Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
