Hi Rachael,
I was 34 when I had my miscarriage. It happened in August that year, and I got pregnant again in December that year. My doctor told us that as soon as the bleeding stops and you're ready, you can try again. What did your doctor tell you? I know some have differing opinions on it. Some want you to wait until you have a good cycle and period after the miscarriage.
It's important to allow yourself to grieve, regardless of how much you try to make a new pregnancy and how soon. Everyone deals with it differently, one friend who went through it in January of this year (a nurse) said she took it as a break from being pregnant and tried not to think about it, another friend went through a real grieving process--cried, was angry, jealous of women who were pregnant, etc. Here's my story:
