Are Usana vitamins better than anyone else's, as they claim?

Is their research valid? How do you verify such research?
The real question here might be--what is the best way to research the BEST vitamins? One doctor told me--if they're sold through multi-level marketing, forget them immediately (these are). Do you agree with that?

Personally, I tend to be suspect of vitamins and supplements sold through marketing programs, including those that are supposedly focused only on health products. However, a non-profit research organization, like Consumer Reports, may offer unbiased ratings of vitamins and supplements.
