Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for finding EmpowHER. I'm wondering if you've had a history of ovarian cysts? Regardless, it is not unheard of to have an abnormally long period, or frequent periods like you are experiencing. Make sure to keep track of this information, and see what happens next period. Here is some information I found online that may be helpful:

Not knowing your personal history, and assuming you usually have normal cycles and ovulate normally, you may be able to still get pregnant month. So depending on how long your cycle usually is, you can guess when your ovulation days should be based on when this cycle started (July 26th)--early next week if you usually ovulate around day 14 of your cycle, and try around then.
By all means, if you have another irregular period next month, you may want to give your doctor's office a call to let them know, or take the opportunity to find a new doctor. Ask friends who they use, and think about switching if you don't like your doctor or their office.
Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
