Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER. When you forget to take your pill, you can take it immediately when you remember, and then be extra diligent about remembering to take it for the rest of your pack. You also may want to use a backup method of birth control (condom, spermicide, withdrawal), to assure you don't risk getting pregnant. You shouldn't stop taking your pills in this case. If you have missed more than 3 days of taking it, you can start a new pack of pills, and use back up birth control for at least the first week of being back on the pill.
