Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Coughing up blood definitely is cause for alarm. I suggest you get in to a doctor as soon as you can, either at your regular doctor today, or Urgent care if your doctor can't get you in. It can be indication of an infection in your lungs, or some other problem needing immediate medical care.
Be sure to make note of any other symptoms, health conditions, and medications you are taking so you can tell those clearly to the doctor. This is important so your doctor can provide the best possible care.
