Hi lolxjackieee,
Thank you for your question and for joining EmpowHER. Just curious, what kinds of side effects were you getting? That's personal, so if you don't want to share it, don't worry about it.
Did your doctor suggest a different pill or form of birth control to use? In regard to your current cycle, if you were on the pill and used the withdrawal method two weeks ago, you were covered, and therefore probably are not pregnant. Be sure to not put yourself at further risk for pregnancy if you don't want to get pregnant.
If you need more information about different pills, or other forms of birth control, please let us know. There are so many options out there that I'm confident you could find a few that work for you. Not everyone gets birth control pill withdrawal bleeding, and it's not clear when you can expect to get your period when you stop taking it mid pack. You may need to wait until you have a full cycle to know what your "new" cycle is. Hope that makes sense.
Good luck, and let us know how you're doing.
