Having a period generally is an indication you are not pregnant. It is impossible to have a period when pregnant. It is rare to see blood present when pregnant and anything more than very a tiny amount of spotting can indicate possible miscarriage, so if you were pregnant and bled, you would need to call your doctor immediately to be checked out. I know how it can be confusing, because period symptoms can seem like symptoms of early pregnancy, and your period can change every once in a while causing more confusion. But rest assured if you're having a period, you're not pregnant.
