Thanks for your question and or finding EmpowHER. We are finding it is not uncommon to have pain in your arm after receiving a shot. Unless you are allergic to something in the shot, or to latex (many needles are made of latex), it could be how the shot was administered. Many folks report of the shot being "too high" on their arm. Some doctors believe it could be nerve damage from poorly placed shot administration.
The best thing is to call your doctor and ask them about how to treat it. If the pain persists, you can look into physical therapy, or go to see a chiropractor. Many people have seen relief from a treatment called ART (active release therapy). There also are some home remedies you can try.
