Thank you for your question. Was this prescribed to you by a medical professional?
According to the information found on the Mayo Clinic website, "For adults older than 18 years, the tolerable upper limit of dosing for supplementary alpha-tocopherol [Vitamin E] recommended by the U.S. Institute of Medicine is 1,000 milligrams per day (equivalent to 1,500 IU). This limit recommendation is not altered during pregnancy or breastfeeding."
However, it always is best to first check with your doctor or pharmacist to ensure you are not causing a drug-interaction with anything you already are taking for a condition you may have.
