Hi, I am sorry you are worried!

Your LMP (last menstrual period) was December 16th, and although you have irregular periods, it is now January 21st and you were expecting your period to have started already. This gives you a 37-day cycle (counting today), and most women's cycles range from 21-35 days in length, although slightly longer can be normal.

Anytime you have unprotected sex...whether it lasts for 2 minutes or 2 hour, whether it is right before or after your period begins/ends...there is a chance of pregnancy.

It sounds like there was one time you did have protected sex (used a condom), but a few other times you did not. If you had unprotected sex, and your boyfriend did not ejaculate inside of you, this is called the "Withdrawal method" (or "pull out method"), and is only about 75% effective at preventing pregnancy (there is a high failure rate, compared to the pill or condom, which are up to 99% and 98% effective, respectively).

Eating lemons, cramping...these do not relate to pregnancy in any way.

The only way to know if you are pregnant from having unprotected sex previously is to take a home pregnancy test (can be bought at any drug store or grocery store for about $12-$15), or you can make an appointment with your doctor.

How do you feel about taking a home pregnancy test?

You may also not have your period yet for many reasons: you are irregular, you have excess stress, recent illness, new medication, or any "unknown" factors. Women have irregular, late or even missed periods...and are not pregnant...so this can be OK, normal and healthy. However, it is important to confirm that you are not pregnant, and keep track of your menstrual cycle so that you will know if you completely miss a period.

Can you let us know what you are deciding to do, and how we can help?
