Hi!
I had sex on the 22nd of march,
I am always due around the 27th or 28th and my cycle continues into the first week of the month. I have a normal cycle, my period lasts 7 days.
After I had sex a couple of days later I had period pain but no period and a thick white discharge still to this day, I still have no period after a week, just back ache in my lower back. Other than that I feel fine, I have also taken pregnancy tests but they come up negative? I have never missed a period? Am I pregnant or is it something else?

Guide

Dear Anon,

Thank you for your post.

Periods can sometimes be late. Stress and other lifestyle factors can cause this. If it's been at least two and a half weeks since you had sex, you can trust the early home pregnancy test results. Wait another week, and if you are still concerned, test again for peace of mind.
