I am 26 yr old girl about to get married with my fiance in 4 months, My periods are fairly regular 28 days, I started having sex with him 2 months back, but used to take ipill every time. since then because of ipill my periods have become irregular and painful, sometimes few days early and sometimes 1 week late.
this time I had sex with my fiance on 12th day of my period and took ipill within 24 hours, then again I had sex with him on 18th day. my periods have not started, now its 35th day ie 1 week beyond my expected day....I am scared now, am I pregnant, please help me...ASAP

Andsbjp,

The ipill was intended as an emergency contraceptive-- not to be used every time you had sex. Is there a reason why you have been taking an ipill every time instead of just taking birth control pills daily? I cannot tell you anything about the irregular and painful periods you've been experiencing because ipill is not intended for regular use. If you are already at the point past 35 days then you should take a urine pregnancy test sold at your local drug store to determine if you may be pregnant. Please keep us posted!
