Q:

Am I at risk?! HELP!

I'm on Levora for 3 months and am a Sunday starter, taking it around 4:30.
So I was trying to refill my prescription on Friday, April 8th, but the pharmacy was closed, but the start of my new pack was on April 10th. So I went instead yesterday, on April 11th, and took Sunday's pill around 1:45PM, then Monday's pill at 6PM on the same day (Monday). I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend came inside of me on Monday around 3PM and 12AM!
I'm a little worried, because I'm getting 50-50 answers on the internet saying I'm at risk and I should be fine.
Please help!

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I will do my best to help you. Remember, the best person to advise you is your gynecologist.

You did not have intercourse on Sunday. You took two doses on Monday.

Timing of when you took the pills and when you had intercourse affected the risk for conceiving.
I do not know if your hormonal blood levels were high enough between taking pill one at 1:45 pm and have intercourse as early as 3:00 pm.

If you think about it, this all happened at the start of a new pack and following a week of inactive pills plus one day. My guess is your risk is low to none, but I would check with your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
