Anyone use Neurological Relief Center for Fibro relief?

My chiropractor is part of this group that advertises relief for Fibromyalgia. I have had the basic test done and had some immediate relief of headache and muscle pain. The test was like an accupressure kind-of-thing behind my jaw and at the base of my skull. The Dr. says it's not really accupressure. I haven't actually started treatment yet. There is a web site : stopfibro.net Thanks, Linda

Thanks for the research, Susan! I suspected something was fishy when the whole pitch was about testimonials from an unknown clinic. When a medical treatment is not forthcoming with information on cost and what it entails, it's, well, sounding like a duck to me (hint: what sound does a duck make?). I got relief from the informational session that included putting pressure on the space between your jaw and ear, and then some pressure on the neck area. However, I would prefer straightforward accupuncture or accupressure or chiro treatments rather than this hush-hush pitch. It makes me angry that people in such pain are getting sucked into something out of their desperation for help. I don't believe infomercials and this is the same kind of pitch. I'm not going to use this clinic anymore and see what they might have billed my insurance company. Best of luck to others, Linda

I googled to ask this very same question! I am SO RELIEVED to at least find someone in the same predicament. Apparently this is going to cost big money even if insurance picks up part. Of course if it is a cure for Fibro I am IN somehow! I can't make this decision on one treatmt, however and I plan on telling my Chirop. that. I am going to listen to testimonials this am. Something I didn't want to do prior to my first treatmt. so I wouldn't be swayed.

I understand your desperation for relief. However, please don't make a commitment to something based solely upon some testimonials. There may be a baby in this wash but you need to be cautious about the path you tread for relief. As for testimonials, I would trust Angie's List or other 3rd party sites more than the testimonials on the web site designed to get you to sign up for this less-than-clear program. Warm (non-painful) regards for your recovery, lslassiter
