i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 18 november,then i started eating famila 28 f tablets from 22 november,i m still eating tablets of 28 days course,i didnt had my periods which were due on the 6 december,from last one week i am having morning sickness,3 days morning vomiting,my tummy has swelled a bit,still no signs of menses.am i pregnant?it means contraceptive pills didnt worked for me?

But we don't want the baby right now, as we have a little baby boy of 2 years, can we use Famila 28, we used it last year and didn't have a pregnancy. Kindly feedback and thanks once again.

Famila is a contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. If you wish to terminate the pregnancy, you will need to seek out other options.

thanks for replying.actually i am not over dosing myself.my medicine has cycle of 28 days and its about 21 days i m eating them.one more week left to finish my cycle of 28 days.famila 28 f contains levonorgestrel usp 0.15 mg and ethinyl estradiol usp 0.03 mg.also it has 7 brown pills which i hav to eat in the last week of medication.it is ferrous fumarate .75 mg.i am not getting the concept of reminder or active pills.i am from pakistan and here there is no awareness to such things.please guide me which tablets(name) to buy from market.

I'm sorry but I cannot tell you which tablets to buy-- this is left up to your doctor to prescribe.
The 7 brown pills in your package are the inactive pills that are not used as an emergency contraceptive because they will not protect you.
If you don't understand how you should be taking your pills please contact your doctor as soon as you can,
