I would like to know if it's good to be on birth control pills at the age of 24 since I don't want to get pregnant now and also which kind of birth control pill is appropriate

Only you can determine whether or not it's good for you to be on birth control.   I can say that it is the best pregnancy prevention method outside of abstinence of course.
