Birth Control and Pregnancy

I skipped my last period as I was going on vacation and took my birth control pills continuous, starting my new pack July 9th (Sunday), right after finishing all active pills in my last pack the day before. I was 8 hours late on Tuesday, July 11th taking my birth control pill. I had sex on Wednesday, July 12th to Saturday, July 15th using the withdrawn method (I know this is not safe) and I am confident that he did not finish inside me. I also was late 8 hours Saturday, July 15th taking my birth control and have been using condoms since being late the second time. Do I have a high risk of pregnancy?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Being late by 8 hours is not ideal but is not considered "missing" a pill. As long as you took them, you should be fine and there should be no additional risk.
Best,
Susan
