Hi, I'm 21 years old and my periods are regular. I finished my period 2 days ago, yesterday there was no sign of any blood but today there is. This has never happened before and I am having slight cramps and my lower back is aching. Could this be another period? I am a little worried as this is the first time it has happened, is it normal? Should I go and see my doctor? Help...

Hi Anon and thanks for your question.
It's perfectly normal for periods to be abnormal - that is, they can vary in many different ways - duration, flow, length and so forth. If this lasts for several days, however, you should then get in touch with your doctor, as that could indicate that you may a medical issue which needs attention.
