brown discharge still after one week period ending

I had a normal 5 day period...2 days after my period ended I started bleeding a little bit, only had to use a pantyliner...now I am having slight brownish discharge and today is 1 week since the last day of my period...should I consult my doctor or is this sometime normal?

Welcome to EmpowHER. Many things can be causing the changes to your period. Ovarian cysts, endometriosis, medications, fibroids and many other. Since this is not a normal symptom for you, it is best to see your doctor and explain what you are experiencing.
