Can I be pregnant?

I missed my first two birth control pills this last month(janurary). I also had unprotected sex. I've been on this pill for 6 months or longer and I've always started 2 days earlier than the pills intend and it always lasts about 5 days. But this month(janurary) was different. I didnt start for 3 days after i usually do and it only lasted 3 days. It was light the first and last day but seemed normal the middle day, but not as heavy as normal. I've already started another pack of pills but pregnancy is still in the back of my mind. I dont want to waste my time or money on a test if i have nothing to worry about.

tney,

Your period can change in duration for many reasons. But, even if it only lasted 3 days, a period is a period and you would not be pregnant. Continue taking your birth control pills as you normally do, otherwise you would be putting yourself at risk of getting pregnant this month.

Hope this helps!
