Hi, I'm 23 years old lady and I'm still a virgin. I have a bf and we've been together for more than 4 years. We never had 'real' penetration or sexual intercourse (saving it for the marriage). But today we made out and he only put his tip into me (only like half an inch to an inch) but did not cum in me. I am just a little concerned and went online to search for answers, and some people even mentioned that with what i've done, i'm actually not a virgin anymore! but no pain no blood flow happened.

Anyway, my question is, will i get pregnant this way? isit really true that if sperm was only near the vagina, i will get pregnant?

only supportive and real answers please.. i know i shud've used contraception, but it was our first time, and we didn't really planned for it to happen.

thanks..

Hi uniquenezz, thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, Yes you can get pregnant with only the tip going inside. Even if your boyfriend did not ejaculate inside you (or at all), pre-ejaculation may happen and chances are neither one of you may be aware of it.

Sperm has the innate capability of traveling into the vaginal canal all the way through to your reproductive system, hence becoming pregnant. Although I would say that getting pregnant this way is much less common than having sex the traditional way, it can happen.

Good Luck to you :-)

hey thnx for your reply.

my bf mentioned he's quite sure he didn't have any pre-ejaculation, so are there still any chances of me getting pregnant? anyway, I might just get a test to be sure. We're both not ready to be parents yet unfortunately..

also, just out of curiosity, am i still considered a virgin after what's happened?

thnx for not being judgmental by the way.

cheers.

Hi uniquenezz,

There is always the chance of pregnancy once the penis has entered the vagina (even if it is just the tip).

As far as your second question, I think that if you ask 10 different people you will get 10 different responses but here is my take on it...
A virgin is defined as a person who has never had sexual interaction. It is meant to define purity and absence of sex. To some people, this means you are a virgin if your hymen has not been broken, to others it means that you have never had a penis inserted into your vaginal or anal regions. So, I would say that there is no black and white answer to this question because although you have not had full penetration, you have had a penis inside you and have had some sort of sexual experience. But then again, if you see a doctor, he may consider you a virgin if your hymen is intact. So, do you see what I mean? It's difficult to say and I'm sorry that I cannot give you a straight answer.

Your hymen may have also been broken riding a bike or exercising-- and this does not mean that you are not a virgin because it had absolutely nothing to do with sex. Hope this helps a bit. Tough question, but good question :-)

Hi i'm a 15 year old girl and me and my boyfriend were fooling around one day. He was rubbing his penis on my vagina and near the opening, he didn't ejaculate near or on my vagina but he did have pre-ejaculation while he was rubbing his penis on my vagina. I'm still a virgin although i think i do not have a hymen. I'm really scared and i was wondering if i could be pregnant? please reply ASAP.

Can you explain what you mean by "he did have pre- ejaculation"? I think this term is misused, and can be confusing.

Here are the two possibilities:
1. Anytime a man's penis becomes erect, there is something called "pre-cum" or pre-ejaculatory fluid on the tip of his penis, just from the act of his erection. This fluid is just a few drops, and may or may not contain sperm. You may not even notice this pre-ejaculatory fluid.
2. Any fluid that comes out of the man's penis from sexual excitement is called ejaculatory fluid. It does not matter the quantity, and sometimes a man can stop the climax somewhat and hold off the ejaculation. This fluid does contain sperm.

Can you see why I am asking for clarification? It sounds like your boyfriend got excited and ejaculated a little bit, so what you bare referring to as pre-ejaculatory fluid is incorrect.

It is possible, but not likely, to become pregnant from a penis having semen come out near a vagina; it does not have to be inside. However, it really does depend on how much fluid you are referring to...literally a drop or two? Was his penis near your vagina, or actually touching it with a substantial amount of fluid?

Hi, I've been reading about these kinds of stuff for weeks now and I am about to go crazy for I still don't have my period - I am now 3 days late. My boyfriend and I had sex weeks ago, and we had protected sex. We were so cautious that every time he felt like cumming, he pulled out (yes, even with the condom on). We were being very careful that way...

But this late period thing is really making me paranoid. Because I remember we had intercourse more than once - same day, same time, etc. Straight forwardly, we had intercourse multiple times consecutively on the same bed.

I'm just worried about his penis being soaked inside the condom with his own semen. Because every time he placed a new condom on, he didn't wash it. That would be fine though, but the thing is, he accidentally placed the 2nd try of condom on inside out. It was placed the wrong way. So we flipped it and put it correctly. What I'm worried about is that when we flipped it inside out, the tip that touched his "unwashed penis" was then the side that went inside my vagina. There was no visible semen on it and we're sure, cause we would've seen it. I'm wondering if that can get me pregnant?

Someone please help me, I'm really really worried...

I think it's possible, but unlikely that you would get pregnant under these circumstances. If you still don't have your period, why don't you go ahead and buy a home test. The sooner you know, the better, and if you're not pregnant, then you'll be able to stop worrying. It's not uncommon to have late periods even when you're not pregnant.

In the future, I would not fix a condom that was inside out - just throw it out and use a new one. It's definitely possible that a few sperm were hanging out on the other side of that condom, even if you couldn't see any semen.

And while it's too late for this time, if you're old enough, remember that you can get Plan B for situations like this. And continue to be careful! I am in my 40s and have only ever had unprotected sex one time, but that was all it took to get me pregnant.

I hope things work out ok for you.
