I had my tubes tied in 2007... Just found out I was pregnant 4 weeks ago but it was ectopic. Dr had to remove a tube ... Is it possible to get pregnant if I got pregnant with my tubes tied again?
I had 6 pregnancies in total my son 10, miscarriage , my daughter 8, miscarriage , my son 6, and the tubes tied.. 7 years later , pregnant (normal pregnancy symptoms ). Found out out it was ectopic pregnancy. Now I'm healing from a laparoscopy surgery to remove a tube.. Is it just my way of having babies??? And maybe I ll come out pregnant again or it's a done deal..

HI Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Tubal ligation is considered a permanent method of birth control. But there is always a slight risk of becoming pregnant after having a tubal ligation 5 out of 1,000 women after 1 year. Women with tubal ligation are at higher risk of having an ectopic pregnancy. You will need to discuss with your doctor the chances of you having another ectopic pregnancy. Hope this was helpful?
