Q:

Can women have bleeding through out pregnancy?

Hi there,
I know that one of the earliest and the most common sign of pregnancy is a missed period and that women don't get their monthly period during pregnancy. However, I'm a little unsure about this now because I came across stories of some women on the internet that said that they never missed a period because they had implantation bleeding and misunderstood that as their regular bleeding. Then they continued to bleed thinking it was their regular monthly cycle, but it was actually their pregnancy bleeding and they had it throughout the pregnancy and without other common and obvious symptoms of pregnancy.

So is it possible for a women to bleeding during the exact time of when her period is suppose to be due or is pregnancy bleeding come whenever? Also does it last for 5-6 days like a period does and is there anyway if you can differentiate between a regular period and pregnancy bleeding because I can't tell if my period is normal or not

Thank you!

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your well laid out explanation. I guess I should rely more on my negative at home pregnancy test rather than online stories of women I've never met!

Thank you again :)
