My boyfriend and I started having sex, and since we are both clean, he went in unprotected for 3/4 minutes before l eventually came to my senses minutes and we got a condom. I ask him if he had a lot of pre-cm, he said no - but how can you really know... I am on the most fertile portion of my period cycle. Should I be worried?

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

Pre ejaculate fluid itself does not contain sperm. If he had a very recent ejaculation, sperm was in his urethra. This is the tube that urine and semen pass through. Once he urinated, sperm was flushed out.

Though it was risky to begin vaginal intercourse without a condom, I don't think you were at a high risk.

Regards,
Maryann
