Clotty period

Took pregnancy test various times before my period and all came out negative. Had my period and it was clotty. My whole body just exhausted all the time. Lower back pain and even cramps and weird feeling around my tummy area. I always feel hungry. I'm thinking i might be pregnant and if not then i'm worried what it could possibly be. Any thoughts?

Many thanks

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
Blood clots are not a sign of pregnancy. Vaginal bleeding that occurs during pregnancy is spotting that lasts a couple days. Blood clots usually indicate a hormonal imbalances. I suggest that you see a gynecologist after your period to get a pap smear and make sure nothing serious is going on. Usually doctors recommend taking birth control to regulate hormones and stop blood clots from occurring.
