Hi! I have been of birth control for a couple of years now and I just recently had 3 accounts of unprotected sex (Dec. 4-7). I know I shouldn't have done this, but approx. 2 days later, I took 4 birth control pills, thinking that would actually help something. It's Dec. 11 and I've just experienced some very light bleeding (dark, rusty brown in color). Could I be pregnant, or is it just my body reacting to the fact that I just recently took for birth control pills? Again, I know it was a pretty illogical move on my part and I'll be more careful in the future. Just had to get that out of the way :)

The bleeding was most likely caused by the 4 pills taken. If you miss your period, take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor.
