Could I be pregnant?

I am 39yrs old.. I had a child 3 years ago so I don't believe I am premenopausal... My period is usually on time, however this month, instead of a regular period, I just had very light brown discharge (starting on the day my period was supposed to start) and this lasted for three days.... I have taken 6 PT's and they all showed a very light blue positive line (which was viewable within the three minute mark)... Then I took 2 more test w pink indicator lines (one was a digital test) and they both read negative. It has now been 8 days after my missed period start date and I have been having light cramps for 4 days. I'm so confused.... Really need to hear your thoughts about this. Thanks!

Hello, MarriedwChildren.

Thank you for writing.

If you have doubts about the HPTs, a blood test is more accurate in detecting early pregnancy. If you are not pregnant, your period was simply off this month. Many things can impact the menstrual cycle, stress, illness, a change in lifestyle. Our hormones dictate any changes.
