Delayed period after stopping Nordette

Are there any symptoms exclusive pre-menstrual cycle or are they ALWAYS interchangeable between PMS and early pregnancy signs?

*ALWAYS protected and condom is checked through water balloon test
*eating habits more frequent, bloated feeling, tender nipples, and larger breasts
*Last dosage of Nordette (as an ECP) March or April; bleeding for May was 5 days late -- does this mean it's only "acceptable" for my period to be late as well for June because I stopped taking Nordette 3rd or 4th week March?

Hi Anon!

There are no hard and fast rules. Obviously one different symptom is that there is a baby in the uterus (pregnancy) or there isn't (PMS) - otherwise they are very similar.

Constant use of condoms ensure your risk is abut 3% of lower. It can take up to 3 months to regulate after coming off the pill, hence why you may have been late in May. Some women can take longer.

I can't say why you are eating more but the bloating may be a result of that.
