Does taking the pill mask symptoms for endo or PCOS?

Im doing an article on this topic and know that some women take the pill to reduce Endo pain but can it actually mask whats really going on in other areas-namely because you get a "bleed" every month so think everything is normal?

Hello kmoore72,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I have heard of oral contraceptives to treat the symptoms of PCOS and endometriosis. But am not aware the hormones mask the symptoms.
