Hi Donna,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community! I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well and have such concerns. I also so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Something that devastating can make women do things they typically would not do like drinking and drugs etc. I am glad you are with a new partner and back on a safe and healthy track, both physically and mentally.

I am a bit concerned that your period comes every two weeks. that is not normal.

While a normal cycle is considered anywhere between 21 and 35 days, the average is about 28 days.  Donna, if I were you, I would call your doctor and get in for an exam. You will find out for sure if you are pregnant and also your frequent periods needs to be addressed. You could become anemic.

Will you call your doctor today? Please let me know.

Best,

Kristin
