Can having you tubes tied make you miss your period. Had tied back in 2013. My period lasted only 24hrs last month and it was very light

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Having a Tubal Ligation (a procedure to stop women from getting pregnant), does not change your menstrual cycle.  

It sounds like you had a menstrual cycle but it was not what you normally have as far as length of time, and level of flow.  Beside the symptoms you mentioned, are there any other symptoms that are changing associate with your menstrual cycle? 

Changes in your menstrual cycle could be caused by a number of things like; age, weight loss or gain, emotional stress, illness, hormone problems, peri-menopause, menopause, etc.
