High Sex Drive: Normal or Abnormal?

Once a week is nothing! I would not be satisfied with once a week, maybe once a day! I love sex! I've been active since I was 19, and when I am in a relationship I usually do it 2-3 times a day, if I dont do it I get nasty.If my husband finishes and doesnt satisfy me I throw a fit! I had a baby last year, my sex drive has not decreased I find it increasing. I am older than my husband and we has trouble keeping up with me......I think its best to have a partner that is near your sex drive, if he cant come close he cant be with me. Sex is the most important thing, the love respect patience etc all stem from the fact that I love to make love with my husband if he didnt satisfy me I would be somewhere else getting some love.

I am 22 yrs old with a 25 yr old b/f. I ALWAYS want sex. Not just for the physical gratification, but because of the intimacy. Unfortunately, my b/f is "not a sexual person." It's really hard because he makes me feel like I essentially rape him. I am currently on day 9 with no sex, and it's not looking promising in the future. I have reached the point where tomorrow I am getting the implanon placed in an effort to decrease my libido. I just can't handle masturbating everyday because my b/f doesn't want to be with me in that way. What makes it harder is he gets a kick out of teasing me and then refusing to go further. I don't know what to do at this point. I feel like a slut. Is there anyone with any kind of advice for decreasing my libido.

Lately I've been concerned with my increasing sex drive. It seems that in todays society woman shouldn't have these kinds of feelings, I know thats completely wrong but that's how it seems to me. I talk to my boyfriend (normally joking) about sex sometimes and he mentioned that that seems to be on my mind more and more. It almost seemed like a concern, why would that bother him? That made me feel angered at the fact that woman shouldn't want sex as much as men. Is it okay for us to be depicted that way? Am I abnormal?

Sometimes I think I'm a slut because ever since I was 13, I please myself every night to go to sleep. If I could get my man Denny to have sex every night I would, but he's always at the gym or running errands. Can you help me with this?? I just hear his radio-announcer voice and... --BC

I am so glad to know that there are others out there who understand what I am going through. I adore my husband, and i would never cheat on him, but it is getting so bad that I am having orgasms in my sleep a least twice a week. I laugh it off in front of him, but I am so embarrassed by my constant need of him and his oh so sexy demeanor. I could pounce the poor guy 3 times a day and still want more. He works hard at his job, often working 10 hr shifts and he works so hard to provide for our small family and his elderly dad... and then he has a fiery ball of hormonal sex fury trying to jump him when he walks in the door...i feel bad but what am i supposed to do?

My sex drive has always been high for as long as i can remember. I started masturbating at an early age and was promiscuous as a teenager. I married at a young age to a man who was so uncomfortable with my level of sexual desire he forced me to see a crazy psychiatrist who diagnosed me as being bi-polar and prescribed heavy medication in order to tame what she claimed was hyper-sexuality. I am 36 now and I have started the process of weaning off of these drugs that I have been on for ten years.
My life has changed completely. I am happy, I am single and I no longer see my sex drive as being a problem in my life. I embrace it as a gift and I am currently looking for a compatible partner for a long term relationship.

I am 24 and I have an VERY high sex drive. It has come to the point where it causes me not to function in my noraml daily life, I think about maturbating, I think about sex, I think about hubby and me having sex. what i want....ETC hubby on the other hand has a LOW sex drive which drives me nuts! I could have sex everyday of the week him twice a month is good! I am just GOING NUTS! SO yeah. I am in the same boat sorta! I do have PCOS so my counselor thinks that the high testosterone levl is what is causing me issues.
