Thanks for your question! 

The average menstrual cycle is 28 days but a cycle between 22 and 34 days is considered normal. 

The first day of your cycle is the very first day of your period so that is Day 1. If you are regular then your period should be somewhere 22 days to 34 days after that, with the average being 28 days. 

The average time to ovulate (your 24 hour fertile period every month) is day 14 but again, this is minus or plus several days before and after the 14 day mark.
