how come i haven't got my my period yet?

On july 5th i was supposed to get my period because I'm normal not irregular and so instead of my period a week after i started getting a brown discharge which was jet few drops every day n wouldn't get no red or heavy period so i was worked n check it up with a doctor n they said it was inflammation i believe so she recommend me to make pressure so it would close tight n i also had a paxmier n the result came out good n she also did blood test n she also said everything was finen that i wasn't pregnet so as today august 27, 2014 i haven't got my period yet I'm being worried already. could i be pregnet or how come i haven't started my period.

I am sorry, but I do not understand what your doctor means by inflammation being the cause of a missed period, what making pressure means or would accomplish, or what paxmier is.

Since the blood pregnancy test was negative, you are not pregnant.

Other factors, such as a hormonal imbalance, can cause a missed period. You didn't mention your age. Missed periods are commonly experienced during perimenopause.

High levels of stress, an illness, excessive weight gain or weight loss, and excessive levels of exercising can cause a missed period.
