Dear Doc,
I had A hair line Pelvic fracture on 7th Feb'12. So i took complete bed rest till 20th march. Then i visited the consulting Doctor again. Xray Showed that Fracture is Heeled up.
But Problem is that even after 2 months of that, i still feel some pain at times. I just wanna know how long I will have impact of this Fracture. How Much time do i need to take rest.? what are the precautions i need to take ? How much time it will take for me to walk properly? Will there be some Tissue rupture near that region ? for how long i'll feel pain ?

I must tell you that i am still not taking any exertion, I just go to a normal walk once in a day. Mostly i stay in bed or do sit at times.
Please do tell me about Cure too, Like do i need to give heat to that region ? am i allowed to sit for long time???? or any other kind of Cure you want to suggest.
Please Give your suggestion, I'll really be grateful to you .

Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHer. I am not a physician. Though we do consult experts in the medical community, the EmpowHer guides who respond to member's questions are not physicians.

You need to ask your personal physician all of these questions. The physician who has been treating you for the hairline pelvic fracture is familiar with your injury, has access to the x-ray films and is knowledgeable in the recommended course of treatment.

Please contact your physician for answers to your questions.

Wishing you a full recovery,
