Hi Anon,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Many things can cause changes in a woman's cycle. Such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and many other. Since you do have a regular cycle and you are 44 years old, it's possible you might be experiencing perimenopause. You will need to see your doctor to know what can be causing these changes. He will be able to check your hormones level, through blood work.
Best,
Daisy
