Hi, Anon, and welcome to EmpowHer!

Can you tell us how long this has been going on? And how old you are?

We all have irregular periods sometimes. If it has happened just once or twice, I wouldn't worry about it. If it seems to always be just two weeks apart, it's something you might want to check with your doctor about. Depending on your age and how long this has been going on, it might be what's called abnormal uterine bleeding. Abnormal uterine bleeding includes things like periods too close together, a flow that is too heavy, periods that are too long, and excessive spotting between periods. There are many reasons this could be happening -- sometimes it's your hormones (especially if you are a teen or are in perimenopause), other times it's things like uterine fibroids or polyps. At any rate, it's definitely something to get checked out, because it can be treated. I know you'd like to not deal with this any more -- every two weeks is annoying!
