I had sex 1 week before my due period date. I am now 4 days late. Yes, my boyfriend did use protection, but he also did finish. I'm not sure if I should be worried?

I heard that your period may be delayed due to stress. This has happened to me before (late period) but my boyfriend did not ejaculate.

Indeed, high stress levels, especially during ovulation, can delay the start of your period. Since you used protection, the delay may be stress related rather than pregnancy.

Try to relax, and your period may start in the next few days. If taking a pregnancy test might reduce your anxiety, take an early response pregnancy test now.
